Canadian Firearms Exchange operates strictly inside the Canadian regulatory framework. Membership is open to verified Canadian residents only, and members engage, buy, sell, and trade directly through the exchange.
Identity verification
Every new member is verified with a Canadian billing address on a valid credit card. We run a $0 authorization through our payment processor to match your name and address with your issuing bank — no charge to your card. Combined with IP geolocation, this keeps the platform Canadian-only.
Firearms transfers
Every member buying, selling or trading firearms, ammunition, primers or powder holds a valid PAL or RPAL and is identity-verified before they can list, bid, or buy. Members engage, buy, sell, and trade directly through the exchange, and all transfers follow the Firearms Act and the CFP's verification and registration requirements.
Prohibited items
Listings for prohibited firearms and devices under the Firearms Act and the May 2020 OIC list are not permitted. Suspected prohibited listings are removed and the member is reviewed. When in doubt, contact us at admin@canadianfirearmsexchange.ca before posting.
Canada Post shipping
Non-restricted firearms ship Canada-wide via Canada Post's firearm-approved service with a signature on delivery. Ammunition ships ground only. Some northern routes require additional handling — your listing will surface the restriction at checkout.
